Wrong season I know...but how fun would it be to have a Christmas in July party?! I'm thinking gift exchanging, 'holiday' cocktails and flashy party dresses! You could string Christmas lights in your backyard and decorate a mini tree with summer themed ornaments. Admit it...it's a good excuse to have a party.

sunny sunroom

Sunrooms are arguably one of my favorite rooms in a house and while they're typically small they can still be memorable if decorated well. In this sunroom from Southern Living- decorating editor Lindsey Ellis transformed a former porch into an enviable living space. The elements of pink, blended fabrics, and bold curtains are the perfect combination of fun and chic. Lindsey's use of white broke up the bold prints and colors well- muted color in the couch & rug allowed for accessories like pillows, vases and a blush stool to stand out. I also love that she included a well stocked bar cart in the corner.
