I seriously can't believe it's July! This year is really flying by. I know when I was little once the 4th of July hit, the summer seemed to just come and go so I'm determined to make July packed to the brim with fun. I'm currently not off to a good start as I sit at home with the flu, but this adorable fun, festive outfit has me looking forward to this holiday weekend. How will you be celebrating?..With lots of sparklers, BBQ treats and good company I hope! 

vacation all I ever wanted

Four weeks and counting! Cant wait for the beach vacation me and my boyfriend have planned. This bone chilling weather has left me feeling a bit blue and lacking in some vital vitamin D. Trying not to get too excited as it's not exactly right around the corner, but I can already taste the salt on the rim of my margarita  glass!

From personal experience I think it's so much easier to get your butt to the gym when you're excited about what you're wearing. I know it sounds crazy!...you go to the gym to sweat and work out all those impurities, but you can still appreciate a good outfit even at the gym! My workout must haves are: good music, a magazine and always something to keep me hydrated. I like wearing layers to the gym and while I think it's silly to wear jewelry I like to keep in my studs. Lately I've been going to Zumba a few times a week- it's fun to mix up your routine to not only keep you from getting bored, but it gives you the opportunity to work different muscles that you might not ordinarily exercise. 

Memorial Day Style

Happy Memorial Day all! Big heartfelt thanks to all those who have served our country and are currently serving. Without the brave people in the military we would not be able to enjoy our everyday freedoms! Special thanks to my dad who served in Bosnia and my Papa who served in Korea!

Poolside

Daydreaming on this thursday night of waking up poolside- equipped with large sunnies, a fun turban, a strong drink in hand and not a care in the world....iffffff only! At least tomorrow is friday! Hope you have some fab weekend plans! xo

Fall Weekend Wardrobe

Seriously lusting after the quilted J.Crew vest! I think it's really versatile and can even be worn to the office! I might have to pick up a color from OPI's new James Bond line to channel the inner 007 in me and since Coach is making a much noticed comeback with the classics I have a feeling I will be digging through my mom's old purse collection.  AND for the first year ever I've been wearing my white jeans after labor day...rebel status.
